MISSING: 84-year-old man in early stages of dementia leaves Florida home and disappears

Police in South Florida are looking for an 84-year-old man who left home Saturday morning and hasn’t been seen since. Hialeah Police issued a Silver Alert for Esteban Gonzalez, who was captured on his Ring doorbell camera leaving home in a blue 2014 Ford F-150, heading west, Local10 reported. Gonzalez left his home just before 10 a.m., police said. They described the missing man as about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 165 pounds. He has hazel eyes and is bald. Gonzalez is in the early stages of dementia and requires medication, police says. Anyone with information is asked to call police at

Hialeah Police Arrest Mastermind Behind Rental Scheme Scam – NBC 6 South Florida

Hialeah police say they have been working this case for two months before making the arrest. They also say she has an active warrant out of Merion County for a similar scam. “She took advantage of several victims who were suffering through the pandemic,” said Sgt. Yoshua Garfinkel with the Hialeah Police Department. “They are down trodden, they were having financial difficulties, a lot of them needed a suitable place to reside as fast as possible.” Police have found 19 victims and believe she scammed about $20,000 from them. NBC 6 reached out to an attorney representing Robles, but have not received a comment back yet.
