Actor Aftab Shivdasani has been roped in to play a pivotal role in Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story , the next installment in the Special Ops Universe. In January, filmmaker Neeraj Pandey and Disney+ Hotstar announced the multi-series franchise Special Ops Universe , following the success of last year s espionage thriller headlined by actor Kay Kay Menon. Shivdasani said it s a privilege to get an opportunity to work with Pandey under his banner, Friday Storytellers. Thrilled to be a part of the Special Ops Universe , a show I thoroughly enjoyed as a viewer and now I ll be living the experience as a member of its cast, the 42-year-old actor said in a statement.
40 years on, Behmai victims still await justice

Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh): It has been exactly 40 years since 20 villagers were lined up and shot dead by once bandit queen Phoolan Devi in Behmai village.
The incident took place on February 14, 1981 and the families of the victims are still awaiting justice even though the main accused Phoolan Devi was shot dead in 2001.
Rajaram Singh, the main witness of the 1981 Behmai massacre and the plaintiff in the case, also died after prolonged illness at Behmai in December last year at the age of 85.
Rajaram’s two younger brothers, Banwari Singh and Himmat Singh, cousin Naresh Singh, nephews Dev Singh, Hukum Singh and Dashrath Singh were among those killed by the Phoolan gang.

After the success of espionage thriller Special Ops, Hotstar Specials recently announced the upcoming series Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story. The first-look poster of the same was released recently as well. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh recently announced on social media that Aftab Shivdasani has also been roped in for the new series.
