Investigation leads to arson charge
A 58-year-old Howick Township man has been charged with arson and drug-related charges following an incident on Orange Hill Road on Dec. 13.

Huron OPP say they and the Howick Fire Department responded to the farm property and found a camper trailer engulfed in flames.
Police say when they made contact with the landowner he became “combative and assaultive” with police.
He was ultimately taken into custody and upon being searched was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine.

A 58-year-old Howick Township man will be in a Goderich court to face charges after an arson investigation.
Huron County OPP and Howick Fire Department went to the scene of a fire at a farm on Orange Hill Road in Howick Sunday night (13th) around 7:30.
They arrive to find a camper trailer engulfed in flames.
Investigators say the property owner approached police and became combative.
He was placed under arrest and an ensuing search turned up suspected methamphetamine.
