Shoppers attend Holland s first farmers market of 2021
HOLLAND With highs nearing 60 degrees, it was perfect weather for the annual launch of the Holland Farmers Market.
Dozens of shoppers enjoyed the market s season opening at 8 a.m. Wednesday, May 12. Each year, the market brings together over 100 local farmers, specialty food vendors and food trucks with fresh vegetables, fruits, bread and baked goods.
Bridge Cards, Pandemic EBT Cards, Senior FRESH and WIC Project FRESH are accepted at the market, which also participates in Double Up Food Bucks allowing Bridge Card holders to double up their spending.
Shoppers can visit market staff in the front vestibule for details on using food assistance programs.
Holland Farmers Market s Outdoor Winter Market starts this weekend

HOLLAND, Mich. â The Holland Farmers Market will hold its annual Winter Market beginning Saturday at the Eighth Street Market Place, a news release said Monday.
Though held inside the Holland Civic Center Place last year, this yearâs Winter Market will be held exclusively outdoors to provide a safer shopping experience during the coronavirus pandemic.
The outdoor market will be held the first and third Saturdays from January through April from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
