Dutch marine transportation service provider Future Proof Shipping (FPS) has appointed Koedood Marine Group as the supplier of PEM fuel cell system.
As disclosed, Koedood will build three fuel cell units (3x 275kW) and subcontract their partner company Nedstack to supply the fuel cell stacks for each of the fuel cell units.
The vessel is planned to sail on 100% hydrogen power by the end of this year, FPS said in a statement.
The 110-meter inland container vessel Maas will be retrofitted at the Holland Shipyards Group’s yard in Hardinxveld this year.
