Harwinton Hosting Medieval Festival Every Weekend Through June
I remember seeing a few traveling Renaissance/Medieval Fairs and Festivals make their way through Connecticut in the past, and although they may not have caught my attention before, they sure as hell are now.
With Connecticut s coronavirus restrictions loosened up, there s an event happening every weekend for the next few weeks at the Harwinton Fairgrounds called Robin Hood s Faire. I thought it might be interesting enough to tell you about it, especially if you re into jousting, sword-swallowers, and battling knights and let s face it, who isn t, right?

ROBIN HOODâS FAIRE
Knights joust at a recent Robin Hoodâs Faire, which will be held this year at the Harwinton Fairgrounds starting Saturday.
This year will be the first time the fair, which is commemorating its 11th year celebrating all things âMedieval,â will make its home in Harwinton.
Eric Tetreault, who handles press for the fair, said Harwinton was selected this year because the eventâs organizers were attracted to its âbeautiful country settingâ and âambiance.â
