WINDOM Windom’s Annual Riverfest celebration in June is rapidly approaching, and the Sons of Norway Stavanger Lodge members are in preparation for their annual tasty fundraising event.
Hosted for many years during Riverfest, the well-known Scandinavian Smorgasbord has morphed into a Scandinavian Baked Goods sale (due to the COVID pandemic). This open-to-the-public lefse and baked goods sale will be hosted on Saturday, June 12 from 11 a.m. until all goods are sold.
Located at Tegels Park on Cottonwood Lake in Windom, the sale includes a variety of Norwegian, Swedish and Danish delicacies. Included are lefse, krumkake, cookies, breads, rolls and more.
