On April 8, 2020, Lower Nazareth Township supervisors voted to enter into an agreement of sale to purchase the Newburg Inn Grillhouse and Bar for $423,000. The plan is to demolish the building that was built in 1750 to widen the road for improvements to the intersection of Newburg Road and Route 191, also known as Nazareth Pike.
