A structure on Maple Street, formerly the Hartford Garage Building, was reported to be burning just before 3:30 a.m., according to members of the Hartford Fire Department. No injuries have been reported in connection with the blaze. The road was temporarily closed to traffic and power to the area was disabled by Green Mountain Power as crews worked to extinguish flames. Members of Hartford, Lebanon, Hanover and Norwich fire departments responded to the fire during the early morning hours. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
