A former elementary school teacher who produced pornographic images of his 15-year-old ex-student was sentenced today to 360 months in federal prison, the result of an extensive investigation by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Los Angeles and the Burbank Police Department.
Sean David Sigler, 56, of Burbank, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge John A. Kronstadt, who described Sigler’s conduct as “inexcusable,” and further said, “Ruining the lives of minors is unspeakable.”
Sigler, who pleaded guilty in September 2019 to two counts of production of child pornography, previously taught fifth-grade students at Bret Harte Elementary School in Burbank and at Gardner Street Elementary School in Hollywood.
A former elementary school teacher who taught in Burbank and Hollywood is expected to be sentenced today to multiple years behind bars for making pornographic images and videos of two of his ex-students.

When icy temperatures knocked out Neshia Inmon’s electricity for more than two days, she sent her 14-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son to a family member’s house while she stayed home.
Inmon, who lives in East Texas, encouraged her children, learning through the Texas Virtual School Network this year, to keep up with their schoolwork when cell service or internet access permitted. Throughout the chaos and instability of the past year, Inmon has done as much as possible to prioritize her children’s education.

Shandee s Letter to the Tooth Fairy
Shandee Whitehead, a vice principal at Hart Elementary School in Prince George, British Columbia, vouched for one of her students when he lost his tooth in class and was unable to find the missing incisor. Rather than telling 5-year-old Gavin s guardian about the lost tooth and calling it a day, Shandee went above and beyond, writing a formal letter to the Tooth Fairy to make sure that all of Gavin s bases were covered.

Police were first called to the home in the 1800 block of 57th Street, which is next to Harte Elementary School, at about 12:50 a.m., police spokeswoman Allison Gallagher said. He told police what happened and that he didn’t know the men and that one of the suspects fired into the floor of his home. They fled the home in a dark-color sedan before police got there, she said.
It’s unclear if they stole anything. Paramedics treated the victim at the scene for non-life threatening injuries, according to Gallagher.
Police are still investigating.
