FAYETTEVILLE Pioneer Fuel Corporation is suing CargoBoss Inc. alleging property damage from a CargoBoss vehicle.
On Dec. 8, 2020, a semi-truck and tractor-trailer owned and/or operated by the defendant was being driven by an unknown and unnamed individual near Pax when the driver attempted to take what he thought was a shortcut onto County Route 27, according to a complaint filed in Fayette Circuit Court.
Pioneer claims the driver went 1.02 miles on CR-27, which does not support commercial-size vehicles, before the vehicle attempted to turn around at the entrance of the plaintiff s property. While doing so, the driver struct Pioneer s security gate system and caused substantial damage, making the gate inoperable.
