A months-long investigation into methamphetamine trafficking in Western Mass resulted in the seizure of a large quantity of meth, along with cocaine, fentanyl and prescription drugs. the Massachusetts State Police said Friday.
Members of the State Police Narcotics Reduction Unit, Holyoke police officers and Hampden Sheriff’s Department deputies executed a search warrant on a West Glen Street home Friday and discovered the drugs, along with written instructions for manufacturing methamphetamine in a home environment.

Wayne L. Tysinger
HAMPTON Wayne Lee Tysinger, 73, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021, at Riverside Regional Medical Center from SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19 pneumonia).
Born in Newport News, he grew up in the Hidenwood area and graduated from Ferguson High School in 1966. Wayne furthered his education at Southwood Junior College and the University of Richmond. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard from 1969 to 1975.
Wayne worked with his father at CAT’s Auto Supply until 1996 and worked for Pomoco Auto Group and Hibbard’s Iron Works. In 2001, he went to work with the Hampton Sheriff’s Department as a deputy sheriff, retiring in 2013. He was awarded Deputy of the Year in 2009 for esteemed duty in the Hampton General District Courts.
