Holyoke man charged with methamphetamine trafficking

HOLYOKE Two city men were arrested Friday and charged in connection with an alleged effort to distribute methamphetamine and other substances, police said.
Mark Cameron, 49, and Jose Rodriguez, 45, both of West Glen Street, were arrested by Holyoke Police, Massachusetts state troopers and members of the Hampden County Sheriff’s Department after officers executed a search warrant at their home.
Cameron was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, over 36 grams, and trafficking in fentanyl, over 10 grams, police said in a statement. Cameron allegedly had 76 grams of methamphetamine in his possession, police said, and he was also charged with possession of crack cocaine and prescription pills with intent to distribute.

A months-long investigation into methamphetamine trafficking in Western Mass resulted in the seizure of a large quantity of meth, along with cocaine, fentanyl and prescription drugs. the Massachusetts State Police said Friday.
Members of the State Police Narcotics Reduction Unit, Holyoke police officers and Hampden Sheriff’s Department deputies executed a search warrant on a West Glen Street home Friday and discovered the drugs, along with written instructions for manufacturing methamphetamine in a home environment.
