WATCH: Hampton, NH Fire, Police, Fish & Game Rescue Owl from Tree There s been plenty of cats and children rescued from trees by police officers and firefighters but it was a team effort Saturday morning to rescue an owl that got stuck in a tree in Hampton, NH. The owner of a home on Heritage Drive noticed the owl and called police for assistance and the responding officer called for a ladder truck from the Hampton Fire Department, according to Hampton Police Deputy Chief Alex Reno. It was a New Hampshire Fish & Game officer who climbed up the ladder and freed the owl from a crack in the tree.
