The call came in around 5:45 p.m.
According to the Hampton Police Division, the victim, a 20-year-old man, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
A preliminary investigation revealed an unknown suspect shot the man while he was inside the business.
The motive and circumstances surrounding this incident remain under investigation and there is currently no suspect information.

HAMPTON, Va. Police are working to learn what led up to a shooting in Hampton Wednesday afternoon that sent a man to the hospital with injuries.
Dispatchers were notified about a shooting shortly before 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of Homestead Avenue. That s in a residential area not far from the downtown area.
A 23-year-old man was rushed to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, but his wounds were later downgraded to non-life-threatening.
Investigators said he was in front of a home when he was shot. Police say the victim doesn t know the person who shot him.
