Two drivers were pronounced dead on the scene of a car crash in Chicopee Tuesday night, according to Massachusetts State Police. Police said that a 2001 Acura MDX and a 2010 Kia Soul were driving south on Route 391 around 7:30 p.m. Both drivers, one a female, were trying to pass a third car before they collided and ultimately crashed.

Two drivers in their 20s were pronounced dead on the scene of a car crash in Chicopee Tuesday night, according to Massachusetts State Police.
Police said that a 2001 Acura MDX and a 2010 Kia Soul were driving south on Route 391 around 7:30 p.m. Both drivers were trying to pass a third car before they collided and ultimately crashed into trees off the side of the highway between Exits 3 and 4.

The two drivers that were killed in a crash on I-391 in Chicopee Tuesday night have been identified.
According to Massachusetts State Police at around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday Massachusetts State Troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on I-391 southbound in Chicopee. I-391 had to be closed from exit 4 to exit 3 Southbound due to the serious motor vehicle crash.
The drivers of a 2001 Acura MDX and a 2010 Kia Soul were killed after both vehicles crashed into trees. The state police investigation suggests that both vehicles were in the center lane and both entered the left lane to pass another vehicle that was in the center lane. Both vehicles moved back into the center lane.

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) The Hampden County District Attorney’s Office confirmed Friday that a body pulled from the Connecticut River earlier this week was a missing boy from Chicopee.
Aiden Blanchard, 12, was last seen at the beginning of February walking toward the Medina Street boat launch.
