CICERO, Ind. There s a new mural in Cicero.
Hamilton Heights High School students are on a mission to paint the town, and we took a look at one of the murals they re working on in downtown Cicero.
You can see the beautiful, uplifting work of art on Jackson Street at the railroad tracks.
While 13News crews were out, they spotted some bees that appeared to think the mural s flowers were real.

A little more than a month after tragedy shook their school, Hamilton Heights High School students headed to the prom. Their original prom was canceled when two teenagers, Hamilton Heights senior Kalen Hart and her date, Lendon Byram, a junior at Cathedral High School, died in a crash just hours before the dance May 1. The community rallied to reschedule the event for Thursday, June 3. Senior Cacy Weaver was excited to get ready for her first.

ARCADIA, Ind. On May 1, students at Hamilton Heights High School were preparing for prom. But it was abruptly canceled when a car crash killed senior Kalen Hart and her date, Cathedral High School junior Lendon Byram.
On Thursday, May 13, the school announced plans had been made to have prom. It came about thanks to the generosity of businesses and people in the community.

ARCADIA, Indiana 13News has learned the cause of a fatal crash that killed two high school students and injured three others could become public any day now. The Hamilton County Sheriff s Office has been working nonstop to get to the bottom of why the crash happened after learning preliminarily from witnesses what may have led to the deadly collision. I hope we will learn more sometime this week from our investigators and crash reconstruction team, said Hamilton County Sheriff s Department spokesperson Deputy Ryan McClain.
