Guangdong province, an economic powerhouse in South China, has set a target of achieving more than 6 percent in GDP growth in 2021, according to Ma Xingrui, the provincial governor. The quality of Guangdong s economy has been greatly improved, following its development of technological innovation and construction of a series of large infrastructural projects within the Guangdong -Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Ma said in his provincial government work report during the annual session of the local people s congress.
