West Bengal: Shah holds roadshow in Singur ahead of fourth phase of polling ANI | Updated: Apr 07, 2021 13:51 IST Singur (West Bengal) [India], April 7 (ANI): As the fourth phase of polling in West Bengal is scheduled for April 10, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday conducted a roadshow in Singur. Shah is scheduled to hold three more roadshows in Bengal today. A massive crowd was seen cheering the BJP leader during the roadshow. The second roadshow will take place in Domjur at 1:35 pm, the third one in Howrah Madhya at 3 pm and the last roadshow will be held in Behala Purba at 4:40 pm.

Shah promises rapid industrialisation, predicts huge win for BJP in Bengal

Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a series of colourful road shows in three districts of south Bengal on Wednesday, promising rapid industrialisation if BJP is voted to power and predicted a massive victory for his party. Shah claimed the BJP will win between 63 to 68 seats out of 91 constituencies for which elections have been held in the first three phases of the eight-phase West Bengal assembly elections. Asserting that Mamata Banerjee s departure is assured, he said at Mallick Fatak in Howrah, She is such a big leader, so her departure should also be with a big margin. The home minister also promised to wipe out hooliganism and political violence if his party came to power.
