Santa Clarita Congressman Mike Garcia Hosts Blood Drive For Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital With blood banks seeing a drop off in blood storage due to the coronavirus pandemic, Santa Clarita Congressman Mike Garcia, R-Santa Clarita, and his campaign hosted a blood drive on Saturday to support the Houchin Community Blood Bank in Santa Clarita. In partnership with the Garcia campaign’s Saturday of Service, Garcia hosted a blood drive drive at the Garcia Headquarters in Santa Clarita on Saturday. Garcia’s presence at the blood drive stems from a program called “Saturday of Service,” where Garcia and his team of roughly 400 volunteers do something different each month to give back to the community, officials with the Garcia campaign said.
