Farm to Car at Windward Mall
(As of 4/29) – This program allows the community to browse the Hawai‘i Farm Bureau’s online Farmers Market, pick out their fruits and vegetables and head to Windward Mall where a member of the Farm Bureau will bring it out to the car. Online order pick up are on Thursdays starting on April 30 from 12 to 3 p.m. in the Windward Mall parking lot near Haiku Road. To ensure the health and safety of everyone, Farm-to-Car workers will wear masks and minimize interaction with customers by having customers show their receipt number and then putting the boxes of produce into the trunk or backseat of the car. Student athletics aren’t just for those who are good at sports. Beyond being a fun way to stay active, they’re also an excellent opportunity for kids to practice social skills that they’ll need to succeed in the real world.
‘Iolani School, which was already a member of the Interscholastic League of Honolulu (ILH) and the Hawai‘i High School Athletic Association (HHSAA), began participating in the Christian School Athletic League (CSAL) in 2010 as a way to give all students not just those who were good at sports an opportunity to enjoy the game, be part of a team and gain valuable skills outside of the classroom.
