A Pakistan Army soldier embraced martyrdom when terrorists targeted security forces convoy Wednesday night in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa s North Waziristan district, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The military s media wing said that 34-year-old Naik Yaseen, a resident of Malakand, was martyred while seven others sustained injuries during the attack in North Waziristan s Mirali area. Security forces responded promptly. In intense exchange of fire, two terrorists were killed while 10 got injured, the ISPR added.
On Wednesday, Havaldar Shoaib was martyred during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted in Balochistan s Awaran district.

RAWALPINDI: A 22-year-old soldier, Sepoy Mukhtar, embraced martyrdom during an exchange of fire with India troops on Wednesday.
The Indian troops committed unprovoked ceasefire violation in Satwal Sector along the Line of Control (LoC). The Pakistan Army responded effectively to Indian firing, causing substantial damage to Indian troops in men and material, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release said.

Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan s Awaran district, killing a terrorist while apprehending another, according to the military s media wing on Wednesday.
Cache of arms, ammunition and communication equipment recovered from hideout in Awaran s Silak Kaur area, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said. During intense exchange of fire with terrorists Havaldar Shoaib embraced martyrdom, the statement said.
On Sunday, a Pakistan Army soldier was martyred an exchange of fire with terrorists during an IBO in Awaran district.
