The programme lead and Head Commercial at Golden Agri Input, Mr Olushola Fashedemi, said: “It is touching on the soybean value chain which is very important, especially to flour mills.”
The Commissioner, Ministry of Agriculture, Kaduna State, Halima Lawal, commended the project and urged farmers to take advantage of the opportunity always available to them.
Representative of the Director, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Hajiya Barakah Abubakar, noted that the project was designed to bridge the gap between farmers and input providers.
Representatives of farmers from Sabon Gari and Giwa LGAs, Aliyu Ubale and Maryam Ibrahim, thanked the firm, assuring that farmers were always ready to cooperate with them.

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has commenced arrangement for the building of 325 houses for communities that were displaced by the 2018 flood in Jibia Local Government Area of Katsina State.
The housing scheme located in Farun Maje community, comprises schools, clinics, shops, security outposts, mosques and other basic social amenities.
The Director-general of NEMA, AVM Muhammadu Muhammed, who unveiled this to journalists while inspecting the project site on Tuesday, said the project would be executed in collaboration with the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) through its Work Centre.
Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo had on July 15, 2018, visited the flood-ravaged local government area to assess the level of damage caused by the natural disaster.

Katsina, usually referred to as Katsina State to distinguish it from the city of Katsina, is a state in North West zone of Nigeria.
The Federal Government is set to commence the construction of 325 housing units for victims affected by the 2018 Jibia flood in Katsina State.
The 325 victims are drawn from about 12 affected communities in the Farun Maje community in Jibia town.
Statistics available from the National Emergency Management Agency, (NEMA) shows that a total of 765 households were displaced, 325 buildings totally damaged with 440 buildings partially damaged.
Inspecting the project site at Farun Maje Community in Jibia Local Government Area, the Director-General of NEMA, Air Vice Marshall Muhammadu Mohammed Retired noted that the site was meant for the relocation, reconstruction, and resettlement of the people affected by the flood.
