Blooming Occasions owner Emma Clitherow says she is still in shock and totally overwhelmed at being crowned the Floral Designers of the Year.

A Harold Wood florist has been officially crowned the Floral Designers of the Year.
Blooming Occasions won the accolade at the recent London and the South East Prestige Awards 2021, which aims to recognise the work of small and independent enterprises which may not be eligible for international award programmes.
Winning this award has seen the florist feature in a Corporate LiveWire company newsletter circulated to more than 500,000 subscribers.
Judges praised the St Ives Close business for its bespoke approach - if it can be made with flowers, Blooming Occasions can make it .

Memorial Health System in Abilene and Salina Regional Health Center announced Tuesday that they have agreed to enter into a strategic alliance beginning next year.
With this move, the two hospital systems will better serve the patients and families of the communities in north-central Kansas. This comes after more than a year of study, discussion, planning and negotiation.
At its Tuesday meeting, the Memorial Health Systems board of trustees voted unanimously to approve the affiliation.
“The MHS Board of Trustees have been educating ourselves and discussing the idea of affiliation for years,” said Dr. Steven Schwarting, MHS Board Chair. “We are committed to continuing to provide excellent care to our community and surrounding area.”
