The Sherborn Select Board, along with the town administrator, Energy Committee and Sustainability Coordinator Dorothea Von Herder, have announced the launch of its new “Sustainable Sherborn website, at https://www.sustainablesherborn.org/. The website is positioned to be a leading resource where residents and the school community can learn about a whole slate of actions they can take to combat climate change and to reduce their impact on the environment. Von Herder calculated the community-wide greenhouse gas inventory based on the year 2017. The data revealed that passenger vehicles contributed an estimated 45% of emissions, while residential electricity, heating, and air-conditioning demands accounted for about 42%.
