Singers Coko from SWV and LaTocha Scott from Xscape broke the internet with their acapella vocals on Instagram.
The two vocal powerhouses delighted social media by singing each other’s hit songs fueling questions of a Verzuz battle.
Coko, whose real name is Cheryl Elizabeth Gamble is best known as the lead singer of the R&B vocal trio Sisters With Voices. Aside from her R&B career, Coko also has an accomplished solo gospel career. As a member of SWV, Coko has sold 10 million records in the US, and 25 million records worldwide, and is a four-time Grammy Award nominee. Always repping for the brown skinned around the way girls, Coko’s vocals have always been top notch and admired by your favorite singers.

Kandi’s singing career
Kandi got her start as a vocalist for the girl group Xscape in 1992.
The group recorded hit albums Hummin’ Comin’ at ‘Cha, Off the Hook, and Traces of My Lipstick.
Kandi left the group after the third album’s release.
Since breaking out as a solo artist, Kandi has religiously released one album every 10 years.
