With an objective to promote environmental awareness and sensitize students about the need for the protection of our planet, MES Indian School commemorated ‘The Earth Day’ on April 20 under the theme ‘Together, We Can Restore Our Earth’.
A special assembly was held virtually to celebrate the day, wherein the students gave speeches in their respective classes followed by students’ pledge to preserve and conserve their self-sustaining planet. The students of K.G-I to XII enthusiastically participated in various activities organized by the Campus Care Force during the 6th & 7th periods.
‘Be a Designer’ (painting) activity was organized for the Kindergarten. ‘Poster Designing’ for classes I-IV, ‘Best out of Waste’ for classes V-VIII and ‘Collage Making’ for classes IX and X provided students a platform to showcase their artistic and creative skills.
