Vodafone net profit rises to QR185m in 2020

Doha: Vodafone Qatar has reported its highest-ever net profit of QR185m for 2020, a 29 percent increase compared to the previous year mainly driven by earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) growth, despite the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Board of Directors of Vodafone Qatar has recommended the distribution of a cash dividend of 5 percent of the nominal share value, or QR0.05 per share, which will be presented at the Company’s next Annual General Assembly for approval.
