National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday arrested seven people including son-in-law of hardline separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Altaf Ahmed Shah, in connection with its probe into the funding of terror and subversive activities in the Kashmir Valley, officials said.

26/11 Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed in a money laundering case related to terror funding in
Jammu and Kashmir.
Besides issuing the non-bailable warrant (NBW) against Saeed, Special Judge Praveen Singh also issued warrants against three coaccused Kashmiri businessman Zahoor Ahmad Shah Watali, separatist Altaf Ahmad Shah alias Funtoosh and businessman from the UAE Naval Kishore Kapoor who are currently lodged in the Tihar central jail here, seeking their production before the court.

The court passed the direction while taking cognisance of a chargesheet filed in the matter by the Enforcement Directorate for alleged money laundering.

New Delhi [India], February 4 (ANI): Responding to Pakistan army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa surprise peace overture in which he said it is time to extend a hand of peace in all directions, New Delhi said the onus is on Pakistan to create an environment free of terror.
Talking to reporters, the Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson said, Our position is well-known. India desires normal neighbourly relations with Pakistan in an environment free of terror, hostility and violence. The onus is on Pakistan for creating such an environment.
