RAJSHAHI, June 11, 2021 (BSS) – A total of 682 more people have tested positive for Covid-19 afresh in all eight districts of the division on Thursday, climbing the number of infections to 41,242.
Death toll from the disease triggers to 633, including 324 in Bogura and 103 in Rajshahi with 64 in its city, while 10 more fatalities were reported afresh on the day, said Dr Habibul Ahsan Talukder, divisional director of Health Dr Talukder.
The new daily infection figure shows a significant declining trend compared to the previous day’s figure of 815, said the health department sources.
“Among the infected people, 33,285 have, so far, been cured from the lethal virus with 510 new recoveries found on Thursday,” said Dr Talukder, adding that a total of 4,246 infected patients are now undergoing treatment at different designated hospitals here.
