Women overwhelmingly accessing support programs

Date Time Women overwhelmingly accessing support programs Almost half of Australians accessing mental health services through  their private health insurance would lose some or all access to their existing mental healthcare if it  wasn’t covered, despite 87 per cent agreeing mental wellbeing is as important as physical health,  according to the results of a new survey.  Research conducted on behalf of HCF, Australia’s largest not for profit health fund, found that 46 per  cent would either stop using (22%) or cut down (24%) access to mental health support services if it  was not available through their private health fund.  The results of the survey of 3000 people have been released in the wake of the Federal Government’s  record Budget commitment of $2.3 billion for mental health.

PMQs: Johnson tells Blackford his dog more sensible than he is when pressed on cronyism claims

PMQs: Johnson tells Blackford his dog more sensible than he is when pressed on cronyism claims BORIS Johnson told the SNP s Westminster leader that his dog had made a more sensible contribution to Prime Minister s Questions than he did.  Ian Blackford was challenging the Prime Minister over Tory cronyism and sleaze allegations, as well as a lack of support for 3 million people during the coronavirus crisis, when a dog began barking in the background. The SNP MP for Ross, Skye and Lochaber was taking part in the question session remotely when he was interrupted by the animal as he was trying to quiz Mr Johnson over transparency for Covid contracts.

On the Today Programme on Thursday he said he had charged his 32-strong army of Alba footsoldiers to ‘advance the most noble cause of all … Scottish independence’. Leaving aside his love of hyperbole, I can’t believe that most electors haven’t already concluded that there’s nothing in any way noble in this man s make-up; only an overweening ego and an unbridled passion for revenge against Nicola Sturgeon for trying to bring him down.
