The Weber School District delayed school by two hours on Tuesday after high winds caused power outages. The district announced it was delaying bus pickups and classes “at all locations” because of the “widespread power outages and safety precautions.” According to Rocky Mountain Power, there were 52 outages affecting 3,425 customers at 7:30 a.m. about 400 of those customers were in the Weber District. Strong winds expected to continue this morning along portions of the Wasatch Front, with the strongest focused from Davis Co north to around Brigham City.
