Hudson Reporter School district receives funding for new technical education facility Bayonne Academy, on the BHS campus, will receive over $9 million in state funds × Bayonne Academy will soon have its own facility at BHS. Bayonne Academy, on the Bayonne High School campus, is set to receive over $9 million in funding from the Securing Our Children’s Future Bond Act (SOCFBA). The state funding, allocated for county vocational schools, will fund renovation and new construction to increase student capacity. Governor Phil Murphy, Acting Commissioner of Education Dr. Angelica Allen-McMillan, and Secretary of Higher Education Dr. Brian Bridges announced on May 28 that Bayonne Academy will receive a total of $9,930,113.

Hudson Reporter Hudson County Community College Celebrates Graduating Classes of Early College Program at 2021 Commencement Students from Jersey City Public High Schools and Hudson County High Tech High School will receive college degrees today × Hudson County Community College (HCCC) Class of 2021 will include 31 students from area high schools who earned associate degrees as part of the HCCC Early College program. The Early College graduates will receive their diplomas during the in-person Grad Walk today from 4 to 6 p.m. at the HCCC Culinary Conference Center, 161 Newkirk Street in Jersey City. “We are so proud of our Early College graduates, most of whom will be receiving their college diplomas a few weeks ahead of getting their high school diplomas,” said HCCC President Chris Reber. Kennedy Dancers Inner City Youth Pre-Professional Dancers to perform at Hispanic Youth Showcase May 28 × The Kennedy Dancers, Inc., a Non-Profit Organization located at 79 Central Avenue, Jersey City, has announced that their Inner City Youth Pre-Professional Program under Artistic Director Diane Dragone will be featured at the Hispanic Youth Showcase, presented by New Jersey Performing Arts Center and Produced by William Sanchez. Performing Choreography from Kathryn Reese and especially featuring dancers Ebone Verde and Joyce Najm Navarro. Both dancers are 17 years of age and have been students of The Kennedy Dancers Inner City Youth Pre-Professional Training Program for the past three years.

Gargiulo Campus in Secaucus. The campus is located at 1 High Tech Way, next to Laurel Hill Park. This will be the second job fair since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic., following November’s successful event that drew over 300.
