What was in your school classroom? I remember desks in straight rows, colorful posters on the wall and a big blackboard up front.
Today we’ll meet a school that has such classrooms, but also nontraditional places of learning such as a working barn and a downtown business. These innovative projects are being implemented by a school district in rural Kansas.

“Every business can use a skid steer.”
That statement refers to the skid steer loader, which can be used for moving pallets, receiving deliveries, relocating products and hundreds of other outdoor tasks. Today we’ll meet a young Kansas family that has built a business in marketing these skid steers from rural Kansas.
Jon and Jenny Stillwell are the owners of Stillwell Sales, a company that specializes in used skid steers. Jon and Jenny have rural roots. He is from Scottsville and she is from Hunter.

The plan builds on an earlier promise to give the COVID-19 vaccine to long-term care facilities in hot spots by Jan. 21. We re moving at a rapid speed right now, Ontario Premier Doug Ford said in an afternoon news conference. We re building the capacity. We re emptying our freezers.
Ford also said the federal government had once again offered the support of the military, which was sent to help the hard-hit long-term care sector during the first wave of the pandemic. His office later clarified, however, that the prime minister made a broad offer of support.
The premier s office added that the province has requested and is currently receiving help in the form of military field hospitals, military logistics advisers to bolster the vaccine rollout, and Red Cross teams in a selection of long-term care facilities.
