UGI Corp. appoints 3 executives to leadership roles

UGI Corp. appointed three executives to leadership roles in its global LPG line of business, effective June 1.
Hugh Gallagher, currently president and CEO of AmeriGas Propane, was named chief strategy officer of global LPG.
Meanwhile, Paul Ladner, currently COO of UGI International, was named president of AmeriGas Propane, and Laurence Broseta, currently vice president of UGI International’s west region and president of Antargaz, was named president of UGI International.
Gallagher joined UGI in 1990 and served as vice president of finance and CFO of AmeriGas Propane from 2013-18. In 2018, he was named president and CEO of AmeriGas Propane. Previously, he served as treasurer of both UGI and AmeriGas, as director of treasury services and investor relations of UGI, and director of corporate development at AmeriGas.

AN object described as rocket shaped which sparked a security alert in Co Down, has been removed for further forensic examination.
Some residents were evacuated from their homes after the suspicious object was found at the Newcastle Road near Loughinisland on Saturday.
The road runs between Ballynahinch and Clough and is one of the main routes from Belfast to Newcastle.
South Down MLA Emma Rogan last night said police told her the object was rocket shaped and was found under a bag by at the roadside by a litter picker.
Police confirmed two men were arrested following a parcel theft in Drumaness in Co Down, N. Footage posted on social media showed a white van and a man putting a parcel in the back.
