PIZZAS ordered from the Domino s in West Swindon can now be collected by customers without leaving their cars. The pizza giant trialled the method in other cities last year and is rolling the idea out to Swindon after receiving good feedback from customers. Location-sharing is used to track a customer s journey from their home to the West Swindon District Centre. Customers who order from there can pop inside to collect their order directly or wait outside in their car for one of the staff to hand it over to them. Choose the In-Car Collection option when ordering online or on the app. Domino s will then send a text 10 minutes before the order is ready for collection. Customers must then share their current location with the team by clicking a link in the text. Pizza chefs will track the customer s journey and aim to have the order ready by the time they arrive.
