Two iconic Aussie muscle cars are up for auction with prices expected to fly into six figures.
Both built locally by Holden within three years of each other, the white 1968 Holden Monaro HK GTS 327 Bathurst and gold 1971 Torana LC GTR coupe will continue to set ablaze prices for Australian muscle cars which have proven a solid, if not sometimes astronomical investment to make in the last two years.

WA Training Fleet goes under the Hammer 28 April 2021
Slattery Auctions will sell off the former China Southern fleet as part of the liquidation of the WA training academy in an online auction beginning this Friday.
China Southern operated 38 aircraft from locations at Jandakot and Merredin, but went into liquidation in February 2020.
Thirty-eight Grob 115 two-seat trainers will be auctioned as well as an engine maintenance facility with test rigs and training devices.
Of the aircraft offered for sale, 18 are airworthy at Jandakot, with seven close to airworthy, seven are in various stages of maintenance at Merredin and six will be sold as dismantled parts only.

Immaculate 1971 muscle car fetches $1.15 million
A meticulously restored electric blue Ford Falcon XY GTHO Phase III has set a new record price for an Australian production car sold at auction.
The 1971 Ford Falcon, described as being in better condition than when it left the factory 50 years ago, went under the hammer for $1.15 million in an online Slattery auction at 6:00pm last night.
The figure beats the previous auction record for an Aussie road car, set last month by a one-of-four 2017 HSV Maloo GTSR W1 ute at $1.05m, and the previous record for a production Falcon set in June 2018 – $1.03m for a Phase III once owned by cricketer Jeff Thomson.
