Aprofessor in the city has allegedly died by suicide by jumping into a well in the Saswad area. Cops said the investigation revealed that he had mentioned being frustrated by his mental illness.
The deceased, identified as Katraj resident Prafulla Meshram (45), was a professor at a well-known city college. He also wrote a Facebook post before taking the extreme step. After reading his post, his relatives and family members approached the Saswad police who immediately swung into action. They tracked his Facebook location and reached an isolated place and found his mobile, car key, wallet, headphones, handkerchief near a well.
