Gangnam District has long been home to large entertainment companies, such as SM Entertainment and Big Hit Entertainment. Many K-pop entertainment companies, some statistics say more than half, are known to have offices near the district s Apgujeong area. Back in the 1990s and 2000s, the area was considered a trendy part of Seoul, frequented by young people involved in the music industry.
Also, since the introduction of Mnet, a music cable channel, in 1995, many music-related companies such as recording studios gathered in the area and there were many high-end hair and makeup salons around which catered to young performers. Aespa Winter has recently gained the attention of many people after her pre-debut photos made the rounds in online communities. Upon seeing these images, many can t help but be in awe at the idol s unparalleled cuteness and natural beauty.
Kim Min Jeong, better known by her stage name Winter, is the lead vocalist and lead dancer of the rookie group Aespa. She was also chosen as the visual of the quartet because of her stunning appearance. Although, the other members also boast breathtaking looks.

Winter is the first member of Aespa that SM Entertainment introduced to the public by dropping her teaser images for the group s upcoming debut. She immediately received praises for her flawless beauty and was compared to Girls Generation Taeyeon, with fans claiming that Winter strongly looks like the singer. Even her fellow Aespa member Karina is said to resemble Taeyeon.
Aespa’s music video for Black Mamba, which arrived on November 17, has made history as the fastest debut track by any K-pop group to surpass 100 million views on YouTube – 51 days after its release.
