Convicted felon arrested in connection to Tuesday night shooting in Newstead
Two people who were at the scene of the Tuesday night shooting in Newstead have been arrested and charged with felonies.

AKRON, N.Y. On Wednesday, the Erie County Sheriff s Office announced that two people who were at the scene of the Tuesday night shooting in Newstead have been arrested and charged with felonies.
Spencer Nowinski, 49, of Sardinia was charged with several felonies tied to both the shooting and a burglary.
The Sheriff s Office says the gun used in the shooting was stolen in a burglary in Clarence on October 18.

NEWSTEAD, N.Y. (WKBW) â The Erie County Sheriff s Office says two people have been charged following an investigation into a shooting in Newstead, Tuesday night.
Authorities say 49-year-old Spencer Nowinski of Sardinia, who is a convicted felon on parole, shot a 34-year-old man around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday at 12976 Main Road in the Town of Newstead.
Sheriff s deputies also say that Nowinski was with 37-year-old Arica Uptegrov at the scene.
The handgun that Nowinski used was stolen from a burglary in Clarence in October.
Uptegrov was arrested and charged for her role in an incident at a Clarence grocery store on December 17.
