New Delhi: After Airtel, telecom major VodafoneIdea has also approached the Supreme Court seeking recalculation of AGR dues. Vodafone Idea claims excess demand of Rs 24,000 crore. Note that the company is facing total AGR demand of Rs 58,254 core and has so far paid Rs 7,854 crore.
If only licence fee will be considered, VI s total dues will come down to Rs 28,308 crore. Vodafone Idea has cited errors of double-counting of revenue, unaccounted payments, inadmissible deductions.
