SPOTSYLVANIA Co., Va. (WWBT) - The attorneys for Isiah Brown filed a comprehensive FOIA request for the dispatch audio and transcripts related to the deputy-involved shooting of Brown.
Thirty-two-year-old Isiah Brown was on the phone with a 911 dispatcher when he was shot 10 times by a Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Deputy on April 21.

SPOTSYLVANIA Co., Va. (WWBT) - The Spotsylvania County Sheriffâs Office has released the 911 call and bodycam footage of the deputy-involved shooting that happened on April 21.

VSP said the sheriffâs office was called again to the residence a short time later. The call to 911 was categorized as a domestic situation between Brown and a family member.

SPOTSYLVANIA Co., Va. (WWBT) - The Spotsylvania County Sheriffâs Office said a wanted man was arrested after a police chase that spanned multiple counties.
Spotsylvania deputies were called around 4:45 p.m. on Jan. 28 to the area of the 9200 block of Courthouse Road after a wanted man was believed to be in the area.
Deputies spotted Daniel Ray Conley, 43, of Stafford, driving west on Courthouse Road near the Spotsylvania Courthouse when they tried to pull Conley over, but he refused.

SPOTSYLVANIA Co., Va. (WWBT) - Spotsylvania County Public Schools has announced changes to its instructional plan for the new semester that starts on Monday.
Starting on Jan. 4 and continuing through Jan. 15, school officials said the instruction will be done in a distance/virtual learning mode.
“We will follow our current Monday-Friday schedule for synchronous and asynchronous learning. SCPS will continue to monitor the impact of the pandemic on our school system,” a letter to parents said.
