Jamestown Man Facing Charges of Terrorizing & Arson

Raymond Risser Photo: Stutsman County Correctional Center JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Jamestown man is facing charges of terrorizing and arson following a fire near Ypsilanti Sunday. The Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office took Raymond Risser, 59, into custody following the incident. Documents say Risser is accused of threatening to set a home on fire of one individual and actually starting a fire to destroy the property of another individual. Risser’s vehicle had been identified at the scene, leading to his arrest in the case. Risser is being held in the Stutsman County Correctional Center on $10,000 bond. Previous Story

People sentenced in felony cases in Southeast District Court in Jamestown

Felony sentences pulled from court records for Feb. 1 through Feb. 18. 6:00 am, Feb. 27, 2021 Five people were sentenced recently on felony charges in Southeast District Court in Jamestown. Gary Frederick Zink Jr., 45, Jamestown, pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, Class C felonies. Zink was accused of inflicting or attempting to inflict bodily injury with an automobile, attempting to elude a police vehicle with a previous conviction for a similar offense in 2019, possession of methamphetamine, driving a vehicle while his operator s license is suspended and possession of marijuana on Jan. 14.
