Rothschild hotel announces ‘indefinite closure’ of Logger’s Landing Waterpark
ROTHSCHILD – Grand Lodge Hotel, 805 Creske Ave., announced late Thursday night the “indefinite closure” of its Logger’s Landing Waterpark immediately due to hardships from the COVID-19 pandemic and staffing challenges.
“Like many other hospitality companies, we experienced extreme hardships during this COVID-19 pandemic,” Julie Day, corporate communications and media director for Stoney Creek Hospitality, told the Wausau Daily Herald Friday. Stoney Creek Hospitality operates the Rothschild hotel and waterpark. “Those hardships mixed with our recent staffing challenges ultimately led to the decision to close (the waterpark) for the safety of our guests and employees.”
