Obituary - Marjorie T. Stephens Deal Funeral Directors After living a life devoted to serving others, Marjorie T. Stephens, age 96, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 14, 2021.     Marjorie was born in Pasco County, Florida, to Roberts Jennings Taylor and Mary Viola Thomas Taylor on September 13, 1924. At the age of 20, she married the love of her life, Dr. William A. Stephens, and they were blissfully married for 45 years.     Marge was the one saving the lost or stray dog and taking them home. As an adult, she served humanity as a registered nurse for more than 54 years.     She never lost her love for mankind or for the animals that others neglected. She tried to save them all.

Eric James Cowart, age 56, passed away April 7, 2021, at home.     He was born December 30, 1964, in Chatham County, Ga., a son of Farris Cowart and Betty Howard.     He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and with the Statesboro Police Department, but most importantly, he was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, son and Pop.     Family was the most important aspect of his life and he worked tirelessly to provide for those he cared about.     He was a kind-hearted and deeply caring individual who devoted his life to helping others through their tough times. He walked an inspired path despite the many challenges he had to face, never wavering in belief of his true purpose.

Alicia Nicole Wiggins, age 49, tragically lost her long-term battle with addiction while in her home on Wednesday, April 07, 2021.     “Nikki,” as everyone knew her, was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, Granny, niece, cousin and friend.     Alicia was born in Chatham County on July 15, 1971, and raised in Bulloch County, Ga., for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Lewis Lander Wiggins of Twin City and Mary Fay Bradley of Statesboro.     She is survived by her daughters, Amber Law (Brett Law) of Statesboro, Ga.; Amanda Small (Matthew McLean) of Manlius, N.Y.; Ashley Morgado of Claxton, Ga.; Tina Morgan (Adam Morgan) of Crossville, Tenn.; Tammy Small (EJ Morgan) of Cookeville, Tenn.; nieces, Christina Edwards (Carl Edwards) of Ellabell; 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and a beloved dog, Pistol.
