Super Nintendo World is part of Universal Studios Japan and promises to offer guests a highly interactive experience.
Visitors will be able to purchase a Power-Up Band and sync this to their smartphone to keep track of their scores as jump and punch blocks to collect virtual coins.
Elsewhere the two main attractions will be a Yoshi ride and a Mario Kart-themed attraction.
While towering over the theme park will be Peach’s Castle and Bowser’s Castle.

Super Nintendo World also features Nintendo themed restaurants and shops, such as Kinopio s Cafe which has Mario themed menu items - including the iconic cake Peach bakes in Super Mario 64.

Mondo Marvel Mecha Figures
Mondo’s plan to turn Marvel heroes into anime and manga-inspired mecha heroes has been in the works for a while, and now we’ve finally got our first look at the fruits of their robot labor in the form of not one, but two Spider-Man mechs. One classic, one inspired by the infamous Symbiote suit, the $160-each figures stand around 10 tall, and come with various accessories, including multiple posing hands, webbing FX-like blasts, ziplines, and even a faux-shield, plus some giant swords. Nintendo Co., Ltd. this week said Super Nintendo World, a new destination in Universal Studios Japan, will hold a grand opening on Mar. 18.
Super Nintendo World will feature rides like Mario Kart: Koopa’s Challenge and Yoshi’s Adventure, iconic elements from the Mushroom Kingdom, themed food and restaurants, and exclusive merchandise.
The park recommends guests purchase an Area Timed Entry Ticket: Advanced Booking in order to enter popular areas.
Universal Studios Japan operates between 9AM and 8PM starting Mar. 18.
