Covid-19 cases continue their slow but steady decline across the region.
Spruce Grove council learned of the decreasing Covid numbers during a pandemic update at a committee of the whole meeting on Feb.16 .

The City of Spruce Grove currently has 11 active cases, while regionally, Parkland County has 26 and the Town of Stony Plain has a total of eight active cases.
“We have been consistently below the 50 cases per 100,000 population for about a week now and this is as we know, one of the metrics we used to initiate our own face coverings bylaw,” said David Wolanski, general manager of community and protective services with the City of Spruce Grove. “This is good news, certainly as indicated and we must also understand that we still have a ways to go.”
