Photo Credit: The Stevens Group Two teenagers have been charged after a service station customer and employee were threatened during an armed robbery in the Hunter. Police say the teens entered Rutherford’s Puma service station, wielding a knife, around 10:30pm on Sunday. It’s believed the duo demanded cash, cigarettes and credit cards from a 26-year-old male employee and 32-year-old female customer. The teens then ran from the service station, prompting a man hunt. Police saw, who they thought looked like, the pair crossing the New England Highway shortly after and attempted to stop them. They then ran from officers, who chased after them, before they were arrested on Queen Street.
