Local roundup: Lebanon girls tennis overtakes Bow Kaeley Skakalski Modified: 4/19/2021 10:25:34 PM LEBANON The Lebanon High girls tennis team got its season off to a flying start on Monday, stopping the state runner-up the last time the NHIAA had a Division II tournament. Kaeley Skakalski won a singles tiebreaker and fought off five match points in her doubles match with partner Keira Hines, giving the D-III Raiders two key points in a 6-3 win over D-II Bow at the Carter Community Building Association courts. Crisi Patel also contributed wins in singles and doubles for Lebanon (1-0). Bow reached the finals of the D-II tourney in 2019, losing to Portsmouth.

Stocken, a junior, struck out four, walked one and didn’t allow a run after Sunapee (0-2) scored in the top of the second inning to erase an early Hanover run. Junior Josh Bucci worked the seventh for the save, allowing an unearned run.
