SAS Selects CFM LEAP-1A Engines to Power New Airbus A320s
(16 Feb 2021) SAS has selected CFM International LEAP-1A engines to power its fleet of new 35 A320neo family aircraft ordered in 2018.
The deal with CFM also includes eight spare engines and a Rate-Per-Flight-Hour (RPFH) support agreement to cover the new LEAP-1A engines, including spares, as well as 15 additional LEAP-1A-powered A320neo on lease. Thai Airways to Fly First COVID19 Vaccines to Thailand on 24 February
(16 Feb 2021) Thai Airways has partnered with the Thai Ministry of Public Health to transport the first 200,000 COVID19 vaccine doses to Thailand.
The vaccine, manufactured by Sinovac Biotech in China, will be delivered on TG675, a cargo flight operated with an Airbus A350-900.
The flight is scheduled to leave Beijing at 06:50 and arrive in Bangkok at 11:05 on 24 February 2021.
Thai Airways has installed special containers which are capable of controlling the temperature of cargo between -20˚C and +20˚C.
